About

GIS analyst by training. AI content specialist by practice.

The second practice grew out of the first. For eight years I compared what a gas map said to what a field packet said. A note was useful when it named a source and stopped at the disagreement. I now use that standard on AI-generated text. I evaluate a draft, label the failure, and rewrite the part that does not hold.

I am not describing a writing career I did not have. From 2016 to 2018 I was a business analyst at Sand Consulting. I worked on web content and digital assets, and on reporting for FriscoBusiness.com. I did not run SEO programs. My degree is an M.S. in Home Science, Food Science and Quality Control, from SPMVV University in 2005. Before the analyst work I taught primary school at Aldrich School in Rochester, Minnesota.

The work I am practicing now is specific. I take text a model wrote, mark what is unsupported or unfollowable, and repair it so a named reader can use it. A mapper needs attributes. A coordinator needs the wait. A procedure needs a stop. GIS is the proof that I have done that kind of checking where a wrong sentence would have left a wrong feature in place.
